If You’re Preparating to Spend a Fantastic Vacation, Spend it in a Glasgow Hotel in Scotland

Posted on Saturday 20 June 2009

I spent part of my honeymoon there, and had to admit it must be one of the most outstanding European honeymoon destinations possible. You don’t need to be on your honeymoon, taking your spouse, or partner on a romantic vacation to Glasgow Scotland , you need look no further than Inverlochy castle.

You don’t want to be staying here if you were looking for a common honeymoon destination that’s for sure, but having said that, if you get the chance to stay at Inverlochy Castle, then take it.

If you can afford it, then take the King’s Suite, not only is it very large, but beautifully accomplished, very conforming, but still with modern touches such as plasma television and internet access. The bath is also big, and the towels beautifully fluffy, and the walk in shower, which is something we both love.

We didn’t go there for the room, but all the other touches from a hotel like this. It is one of the most beautifully repaired Scottish castles, and arriving in the rain, an umbrella appeared, our luggage disappeared, and our car was parked. Then walking into chocolates and champagne in our suite was another nice touch

The entire stay in Glasgow was unbelievable as we were spoiled throughout our stay. The view was exquisite as we can see Ben Nevis in one window and Loch from the other. Lastly, the food was delightful.

It is fair to say that you need to be fond of a bit of hill walking, picture taking, just relishing the view, because there isn’t a great deal entertainment around the region, but then we were on our honeymoon!!!

What we liked themost was how we were cared for by the hotel staff. They were wholly respectful to our privacy.

Because of this remarkable experience, I would advocate Inverlochy Castle in Glasgow, Scotland to be one of the most grandest hotels and one of the best European honeymoon destinations.
